About the Role
We are looking for a Senior GHG & ESG Consultant with 4–5 years of relevant experience to support client engagements spanning greenhouse gas accounting, ESG reporting, assurance, product carbon footprint assessments, sustainability data analytics, and digital ESG solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems using sustainability knowledge, technology, analytics, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting

• Prepare organizational GHG inventories in line with GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
• Calculate Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
• Conduct Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) assessments and support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for verification and assurance.
• Support decarbonization and emissions reduction initiatives.

ESG Consulting & Reporting

• Prepare ESG reports aligned with BRSR, GRI, CSRD, IFRS S1 & S2, and other reporting frameworks.
• Conduct ESG assessments, gap analyses, and materiality assessments.
• Develop sustainability KPIs and reporting dashboards.
• Support ESG strategy development and implementation.

Assurance & Verification

• Assist in GHG verification and ESG assurance engagements.
• Review client data and maintain quality documentation.
• Coordinate with clients during assurance assignments.

Data, Technology & AI

• Analyze sustainability datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Build dashboards using Power BI and Advanced Excel.
• Support ESG and carbon accounting platform implementation.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to develop digital sustainability solutions.
• Explore AI and LLM-based applications for ESG reporting and automation.

Client Engagement

• Engage with stakeholders across sustainability, finance, procurement, operations, and leadership teams.
• Conduct workshops and awareness sessions.
• Prepare proposals, technical reports, executive summaries, and presentations.
• Support business development with technical expertise.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy, Mechanical, Chemical, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Sustainability, Environment, or Management is preferred.

Certifications:

Candidates should possess at least one of the following:

• ISO 14064 Lead Verifier / Lead Implementer
• ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint
• GHG Protocol
• GRI Professional Certification
• BRSR Reporting
• AA1000 Assurance / Practitioner
• Other recognized ESG or sustainability certifications
