Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Electronics Production Manager who can build, scale, and optimize precision electronics manufacturing operations, including production lines, calibration labs, quality systems, and certification processes.

This is a greenfield setup role, where the candidate will be responsible for establishing manufacturing systems from scratch and scaling them.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Setup & Scale-Up

• Establish manufacturing lines for electronics assemblies, flow meters, and smart metering devices.
• Develop SOPs for assembly, testing, and packaging.
• Design production workflows from IQC → Assembly → Testing → FQC.
• Drive yield improvement, cost optimization, and production throughput.

2. Calibration Lab Setup & Management – Critical

• Set up flow meter calibration systems.
• Work with volumetric and gravimetric calibration systems.
• Establish reference master meters and traceable standards.
• Develop calibration procedures for flow, pressure, and level measurement devices.
• Ensure compliance with NABL/ISO standards and work towards an ISO 17025-accredited calibration lab. 

3. Certification & Regulatory Compliance

• Lead product certification processes including:
  • BIS Certification
  • Legal Metrology / Model Approval
  • WPC Certification
• Coordinate with government bodies, testing laboratories, and certification agencies. 

4. Quality & Reliability

• Implement IQC, IPQC, and FQC systems.
• Lead root cause analysis and product reliability improvement.
• Establish testing protocols for temperature, humidity, vibration, IP rating, corrosion resistance, and field durability.

5. Smart Meter & IoT Manufacturing

• Oversee integration of GPRS and LoRaWAN communication modules.
• Coordinate embedded firmware testing.
• Ensure production readiness of AMR/AMI and cloud-connected IoT devices. 

6. Supply Chain & Inventory

• Manage BOM planning and vendor development.
• Optimize procurement and inventory levels.
• Ensure availability of critical components.

7. Production MIS & Continuous Improvement

• Implement production tracking through ERP/dashboards.
• Monitor production output, rejection rates, and calibration accuracy.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma practices. 

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing, precision instrumentation, flow meters, or industrial sensors.
• Experience setting up or scaling manufacturing units.
• Experience with calibration processes for flow, pressure, or level instruments.

Compensation

₹5–7 LPA, based on experience and background, with performance incentives for high-impact candidates.
