About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Multimodality Engineer to provide installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for medical imaging and biomedical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of multimodality medical equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Attend service calls and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with service contractors for maintenance activities and collection of service-related documentation.
• Train customers on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and proper equipment handling.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely follow-ups and technical support.
• Ensure closure of all assigned service calls within the defined timelines.
• Prepare and submit service reports, preventive maintenance reports, and other required documentation to the branch office.
• Coordinate with the Service Coordinator to arrange spare parts required for equipment repairs.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety guidelines, and service protocols.

Qualifications

• Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, or
• B.Tech with 2+ years of experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in servicing and maintaining biomedical or medical imaging equipment.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
• Knowledge of biomedical, medical imaging, electronic, and electromechanical equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Good documentation and reporting abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage service schedules.
• Willingness to travel locally for on-site service support.
