Guidelines

Eligibility:

Open to all students enrolled in any undergraduate course, regardless of branch and year.
Everyone is welcome to participate and provide solutions.

Team Eligibility Criteria:

Team size allowed: 1-3 members.
Inter-branch and Inter-Year teams are permitted.

General Instructions:

All participants must register on the WUElev8 platform and apply to join the hackathon.
The hackathon includes two phases: the Prototype phase (online) and the Grand Finals (offline).
Participants are required to focus on the problem statement exclusively during the hackathon.
The use of closed-source services, products, or libraries is not allowed.

Guidelines:

Problem Statement Selection: Participants must choose a problem statement from one of these domains: Machine Learning (ML), Web Development, or Mobile Development.
Problem Statement Features: Each problem statement will provide a list of potential features to be implemented in the project.
Additional Feature Bonus: Extra points will be awarded for incorporating features beyond the outlined requirements.
Project Evaluation Criteria: Projects will be evaluated based on:
Functionality: Performance and usability of the solution.
Viability: Practicality and usefulness of the project.
Presentability: Quality of project presentation and communication.
Extensibility: Potential for future development and expansion.

Submission Details:

Phase 1: Prototype Submission

Description: Submit a functional proof of concept, including a demo video and code.
Format: Provide a detailed outline or early version showcasing core functionality.
How to Submit: Upload the prototype on the WUElev8 platform by the specified deadline.
Additional Information: Submit a zip file named following the below rules, containing the codebase and a video presentation. Include a README in the zip file with instructions for setting up and navigating the project.
File Name: The submitted zip file should be named as per the PSCode given in problem statement PDF.
eg: PSCode : HNWD01 the submitted zip file name should be: HNWD01.zip

Phase 2: Final Project Submission

Description: Develop the finalized product.
Format: Present the complete project with all implemented features.
How to Submit: Follow the submission process on the WUElev8 platform.
Additional Information: Include comprehensive presentation or documentation showcasing the functionality, viability, presentability, and extensibility of the project.

Important Note:

Ensure adherence to the guidelines and submission deadlines.
Projects violating the closed-source policy will be disqualified.
Follow the WUElev8 platform's instructions for both hackathon phases.
