Description
CASEino — Grant Thornton Bharat
India’s premier postgraduate case study competition that blends consulting rigor with real-world impact.
We proudly present CASEino, a premier case study competition that bridges the gap between academia and industry by challenging top talent from India’s leading B-Schools. Dive into the world of real-world consulting problems and industry complexities. Here's your chance to not just theorise but to apply your knowledge, gain practical experience and interact with industry stalwarts.
Launched in 2023, CASEino has quickly risen to become a platform of choice for students who want to test their business acumen against the very best in the country.
These numbers are not just statistics. They are a testament to the ambition, energy, and intellect of students across India who step forward each year to prove themselves. CASEino is not just about winning — it’s about challenging conventional thinking, building real consulting skills, and creating moments of growth that last a lifetime.
Our promise to participants: a structured, transparent competition that rewards insight, commercial thinking, and executable recommendations — plus tangible career outcomes (PPIs, live projects, experiential exposure). Are you ready to take on the challenge? Form your dream team, brainstorm your best ideas and get set to conquer CASEino!

Because it is more than a competition. CASEino is:
At CASEino, every round is an opportunity. Every idea is a step closer to transformation. And every participant is already a winner for daring to take the leap.
Every round of CASEino mirrors the life cycle of a real consulting project — from defining the problem, to developing a structured solution, to presenting actionable recommendations under pressure. We designed the rounds to progressively test problem framing → structured analysis → high-pressure live execution. Think of it as three gates: each one tighter, more exacting, and closer to the GT experience.
Objective: quickly capture insight and direction — can you distil the problem to a crisp, actionable idea?
What you’ll receive: a Grant Thornton case prompt (context, constraints, a few data tables).
Deliverable: a single-page (PDF) response — concise problem statement, primary insight, recommended approach (high-level), 3-point action plan, topline impact metrics.
Tone we want: precise, confident, insight-led. You are not asked for exhaustive modelling — you are asked what matters and why.
Judging focus: clarity of problem framing, originality of insight, feasibility, conciseness and structure.
Format rules: One-page PPT or PDF (The introduction slide excluded). Filename for submission: CASEino 2025_Preliminary Round_Team Name_College Name.
Objective: move from insight to execution — build a structured, evidence-backed solution.
What you’ll receive: the same GT case study used in Round 1 but a requirement to expand analysis.
Deliverables:
Objective: deliver under pressure — rapid sense-making, live presentation and defense before a panel of GT leaders and subject experts.
What happens: Top teams (typically 8 – 12) are invited to an in-person finale. Teams will be given a new GT problem statement (different from prelim/semi) and limited preparation time. Final deliverable is a live presentation followed by Q&A.

CASEino is more than just a trophy on your shelf. It’s an experience that can shape your career.
CASEino is more than a competition. It’s an accelerated practicum in consulting — a safe space to test big ideas, learn how to present them convincingly, and build connections that matter. If you want to sharpen your analytical instincts, learn how to sell a solution to senior stakeholders, and possibly fast-track your entry into consulting or strategy roles — CASEino is the stage.
Ready to compete? Gather a balanced team, register here, and start thinking in terms of impact, not just answers. You’re one (brilliant) step away from semi-final glory.
